An awakened cybercombat decker who prefers a straight fight over sneaking around.
Convienent Coma, Still Wearing the Old Colors, Proud Warrior Race Guy, Magical Native American: Host dancer continues to be a proud member of the Ute tribe, despite their nation being absorbed into the Pueblo. He retains the use of old Ute national symbols, most notably the black horse his persona icon rides in the Matrix (a symbol of Ute military spiders).
Because his nation no longer exists, Dancer is seeking a spiritual home with another great tribe.
The impassive, disheveled, addiction, and dependent(alcohol) qualities make Host Dancer a shell-of-a-man who is desparately seeking some purpose in the 6th world.
After paying off his 37,500 debt to the First Bank of the Pueblo, Host Dancer has taken on an air of materialism and now seeks the Latest and Greatest equipment.
Host Dancer used to be one of the best deckers in the world. Acting as the top Matrix "troubleshooter" for the Ute Nation, Dancer enjoyed both wealth and privelidge. When the Crash 2.0 hit it had two effects: His body was thrown into a coma, and his spirit awakened magically.
After absorbing the Ute Nation, the Pueblo Corporate Council discovered that Dancer was a distant relative of Daniel Howling Coyote. The PCC saw the potential for a PR victory in keeping Dancer alive, so he spent the next 15 years in a military hospital outside of Provo.
When Dancer emerged from his coma, he wanted no part in the PCC's modern anglo-friendly society. After he left their care, the Pueblo sent him a massive bill for his time under their medical care. With no money to his name, Dancer turns to Shadowrunning both to pay off his debts, and to reclaim his place in the world.
