Backstory
Original producer: TBD (Any interested GM can pick this storyline up. Mono is an 'unaware' PT, doesn't know she is one. Ideas include: Renraku, Shiawase, ninjas, secret Garo cloning project)
Mono has undergone a rough spiritual journey that helped her get past all the compulsive lying and very selfish and self-driven parts of her, retaining a virtuous and willful drive toward mastery of the blade. That story is still under construction.
From Mononoke's autobiography (From her lying days): "He was born in Berlin as the 12th child of the Emperor, first of his name. Raised in the art of gunmanship, he eventually outclassed legends such as "The White Death" and Oprah. At the ripe Ork age of 12, she left Germany's capitol New York and lived alone in a forest to hone her hacking skills. A few years in, the young dwarf came upon a glowing crystal. Using her legendary skills of jewelcrafting, she forged them into earrings. The process took a whole year, but it was worth it. When he put the earrings on, lightning struck, nearly killing the blademaster-in-hiding."
"The forest was set ablaze. At first it looked like the helpless victim would perish, although, as the flames grew closer, a fraction of Mononoke's being split off from her body. It entered the earrings and raised her from the Fallen, at the same time causing an explosive Awakening that banished all the flames and saved Norway from another great forest fire."
"With the world saved for the second time, the ace pilot was given the name "Mononoke". The first time she saved the world was of course the deescalation of the Cold War during the 1983 Soviet nuclear false alarm incident. She once more put her formidable skills to use when she saved Yasuhito's life during the Ring of Fire eruption, helping him become the new Japanese emperor."
"Not all things have a happy ending, though. Her greatest ally, Emperor Yasuhito betrayed her during a defense of the Imperial Palace, banishing her from the Japanese isles and striking her name from the Annals of History out of jealousy."

Personality
Mononoke is a calm and shy person. She tries to stay friends with the people who can somehow suffer through her crusading habits, although it gets difficult when these people don't appreciate the art of the blade and chivalry. She has an innate respect for skilled swordsmen and WIP.
