Shinji Imagawa is the Saiko-Koman of the Imagawa-Gumi Yakuza family. The Saiko-Koman is the public face of a Yakuza family, and Shinji Imagawa at 34 is an exceptionally young man to hold that position. He is the public face of the organization, and handles all of the clan’s legitimate dealings and holdings. He is responsible for laundering the money the organization takes from its illegal activities, and turning it into clean money the organization can spend publicly. He is a lawyer by education, but spends most of his efforts managing the real-estate holdings and other investments of his clan. An imperious and immaculately mannered young man, he is constantly urging his family forward into more white collar avenues of income, and moving away from the traditional methods revenue, where he feels his family is too small to effectively compete.

Lately Shinji Imagawa has taken to hiring shadow runners to accomplish his goals, rather than going through proper channels. His jobs usually involve runners attacking or sabotaging rival organized crime families, but his true purpose is almost always obscured. A man with many plans in motion at any given time, he has even given jobs that seem contrary to the wishes or benefit of his clan, though they have always come out ahead in the end. He has recently been seen in the company of Reggie Sykes, and his made a number of business dealings with EVO. What that means is currently uncertain.
